What InnoCap Was Facing
InnoCap was running complex fund operations — cap table calculations, waterfall distributions, LP reporting — across dozens of concurrent funds using spreadsheets. The manual workflows created compliance risk and could not scale past the current team size. They needed purpose-built SaaS with enterprise-grade role-based access control for GPs, LPs, and auditors.
The Solution
What We Built
We built a cloud-native fund administration platform from scratch: multi-tenant PostgreSQL with row-level security enforced at the database layer, an automated waterfall calculation engine deployed as a stateless microservice, a real-time LP portal with scoped data access, and an immutable audit trail designed to meet US institutional compliance requirements. Infrastructure was provisioned via Terraform on AWS with separate VPCs per fund group.
